Business Development Lead

Job Overview
GoAccelovate is seeking a hands-on Business Development Lead who will take full ownership of driving business growth generating leads, closing deals, building key partnerships, and expanding market reach for our AI and software products/services. You’ll be the driving force behind GoAccelovate’s revenue growth, initially managing the entire sales/bizdev cycle yourself, and then building and leading a high-performing sales team.

Job Description

  1. Identify, qualify, and pursue leads for AI, SaaS, and software services using modern tools (Apollo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, HubSpot, Upwork, etc.).

  2. Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to pitching, negotiating, closing, onboarding, and managing client relationships.

  3. Develop and execute effective outbound/inbound sales strategies using email, social selling, cold calling, networking, and events.

  4. Maintain and update sales pipelines in Jira, CRM, ensuring accurate tracking and forecasting.

  5. Prepare compelling proposals, sales decks, and client pitches tailored to enterprise, SMB, and startup clients.

  6. Continuously research markets, competitors, and trends in AI/software to refine sales strategies and uncover new opportunities.

  7. Build and nurture partnerships with channel partners, resellers, and key ecosystem players.

  8. Work closely with Marketing, Product, and Leadership to align business development with company strategy.

  9. Track key sales metrics and present actionable insights to leadership.

  10. As business scales, recruit, mentor, and lead a high-performing sales/business development team.

Qualifications

  1. Bachelors or Master’s degree in Business or relevant field preferred.

  2. 2+ years in B2B SaaS, AI, or software product/services sales and business development, with hands-on experience owning the full sales cycle.

  3. Demonstrated success closing deals with enterprise and SMB clients, including international markets.

  4. Skilled with lead gen, prospecting, proposal writing, pitching, negotiation, pipeline management, and client relationship management.

  5. Proficient with CRM, Jira, Trello, Slack and lead gen tools (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce, Apollo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Upwork, Outreach.io, etc.).

  6. Deep understanding of AI, SaaS, and software solutions can translate technical features into business value.

  7. Strong research skills for identifying trends, competitor analysis, and market mapping.

  8. Self-starter, adaptable, thrives in fast-paced environments, and comfortable building processes from scratch.

  9. Experience (or clear potential) in building and leading sales/business development teams.

  10. Excellent verbal and written communication skills; strong presentation and negotiation abilities.

  11. Experience selling in GCC/UAE or international markets.
